Toxic Toast is a local record label, doubling as a record shop in Long Beach, California. Originally founded by two best friends who produced and sold music out of their garage, Toxic Toast was founded on a passion for alternative music and community. Today, the shop also sells CDs and comics.
But who are we really?
Toxic Toast is a community and a culture of its own. As creative spaces shrink and dwindle, Toxic Toast has made a point to dig its heels in, creating a space for people of all ages to explore all genres of alt music and collections.

Stick It To The Man
Sticker tagging, or sticker art, is a form of street art that was big in the early 90s. The trend was popular with younger street artists and allowed for smaller designs to be easily recreated and spread to different places. This led to the stickers being a popular vehicle for political messages and social commentaries. Toxic Toast’s founders used to sticker tag street signs together, which led to the creation of Toxic Toast’s famous sticker wall, where customers are encouraged to make and leave their own sticker tags. We wanted to honor this tradition in the re-brand by outlining subjects in whiteto liken them to stickers and making use of sticker in marketing
